    30th Jul 2008SVA PASSED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The SVA test was done on the 30th of july and passed with no problems we now have the mac certificate (ministers approval certificate) which is needed to register the car so we can drive on the road,The journey was interesting to leighton buzzard as the engine is running so rich it was difficult to drive but overall was good fun to drive,I made a temporary baffle to fit inside the main silencer which worked a treat. We can now fit the harnesses (which would have passed anyway) and remove some of the ugly trims.I will post some pictures once the modifications have been done untill then thanks for following our build and dont forget to see my next build (follow link at left of page) cheers and look out for us on the road.
11th May 2008FINISHED (pre sva test)
The car is finally finished, we have only to get it set up on a rolling road then the sva test. Its been two years since we started the build and it has been fun throughout .We should have had it finished much sooner but with other commitments we never managed to spend a lot of time on the build, These are the finished photos,i shall post photos after the sva as we will be able to add 4 point harneses and exhaust heat shield, and take off the unsightly centre mirror and replace with a better looking one, remove the unnessasary trims and shorten the front indicator stalks etc.....Thanks for following our build diary and hope to update in a few months with the sva results and some on the road pictures... :-) If you have enjoyed following our build then follow the link to my next project at the botom left of the page where i will be building another cat but with many differences.
